Load-lifting Eyes at Ladder Tip
Load-lifting eyes come standard on all Ferrara aerials. They are rated at 500 pounds as a pair giving you added rescue capability.
EZ-Stack Hose Bed
Ferrara’s HD-77 with right side EZ-Stack hose bed can easily carry 1,000' x 5" and 400' x 2-1/2" and you still have a full-height compartment ahead of the right wheel.
Fully Enclosed Sheaves
All sheaves are fully enclosed, so you don’t have to worry about getting PPE or other gear caught between the cable and pulley.
Optional 500 lb-capacity Rope Rescue Pulley
Use our optional 500-pound-capacity Rope Rescue Pulley system to safely and easily perform high-angle rescue operations.
Angled Stabilizer Foot Pads
Stabilizer foot pads are angled slightly down toward the middle of the truck. During the winter, when you park the truck in your station, snow, ice and slush will melt and drain off the foot pad instead of melting there and causing the pad to rust.
Optional 2-1/2" Discharge
Supply a standpipe without disconnecting the nozzle on the aerial monitor with our optional 2-1/2" discharge at the ladder tip.
Optional Recessed Magnet
Save set-up time and stop guessing where the auxiliary ground pads should be placed. We offer an optional recessed magnet in the auxiliary pad, allowing you to connect to the stabilizer foot pad prior to deployment.
Optional 165 Vertical Travel Monitor
Quickly put out a fire in an attic or upper void area with our optional 165 vertical travel monitor. This allows you to flow a master stream at the ladder’s rated capacity up to 30° above horizontally.

Standard Bolt-on Egress Section
Standard on all Ferrara aerial ladders is an 11° angled, bolt-on egress section. The downward angle allows for easy transition to a window or roof. And because it’s bolt-on, it can be easily replaced if ever damaged.
Dual Siamese Extension Cylinders
Extension/retraction is smooth and rapid with our dual Siamese extension cylinders. Why settle for 2 extension cylinders when you can have 4?
Maximum Compartment Space
Over 205 cubic feet of usable storage space plus over 150' of ground ladders in the rear torque box opening. The right side EZ-Stack hose bed can carry 1000' x 5" and 400' x 2-1/2".
Clean, Easy-to-use Controls
The turntable control console has a clean design with easy-to-find and read instruments. The ladder controls are direct hydraulic, requiring no manual overrides.
