Ferrara Fire Apparatus, Inc. Introduces Inferno 4x4 Custom Fire Chassis at the Firehouse World Show, February 18-20, 2003, San Diego, CA.

HOLDEN, LA - The new 4-wheel drive Inferno chassis is designed to give fire departments a municipal pumper that is designed for rigorous operating environments.

Ferrara's straight frame rail design does not require special "drop" frame modifications to accommodate pump mounting or compartment configurations.

"Our 4 x 4 chassis, totally engineered for greater stability and superior handling, will take firefighters to destinations impossible to reach by conventional pumpers." Said Chris Ferrara President & CEO.

An unprecedented 21" ground to bottom of cab dimension maintains an excellent angle of approach with fully enclosed or optional barrier style, cab doors.

The all wheel drive cab design offers excellent firefighter ergonomics including a low engine doghouse and enclosed entry-level steps. There is also versatility in cab sizes including a medium or long cab with flat or raised roof options.
